The Grado Green4 is a phono cartridge from the prestigious Prestige Series, designed to deliver the musical character that has distinguished Grado cartridges for decades. Built on extensive experience in cartridge design, the Grado Green4 offers a stable and engaging presentation across a wide range of systems.

Thanks to Grado’s moving iron design, the Green4 generates a precise signal with an extremely low moving mass. In addition, the coil structure remains fixed, allowing the cartridge to combine speed, control, and harmonic integrity without the typical fragility of traditional moving coil systems. As a result, performance remains consistent over time, with no degradation of the internal signal path.

In terms of sonic performance, the Grado Green4 delivers a balanced and musical sound, with clear detail and a smooth high-frequency response. In particular, the midrange conveys warmth and presence, while the low frequencies remain controlled and well defined. Thus, every record is reproduced with consistency, stability, and naturalness.

From a construction standpoint, the Green4 features a bonded elliptical diamond mounted on an aluminium cantilever. The elliptical profile ensures effective groove contact and reliable tracking performance. Furthermore, the stylus is user-replaceable and all Prestige Series styli are interchangeable; therefore, maintenance is simple and the cartridge retains its value over time.

Finally, the signal path uses ultra-high-purity 5N OCC copper, with cryogenic treatment and internal damping to reduce unwanted resonances. Available in both Standard Mount and P-Mount versions, the Grado Green4 ensures broad compatibility with most turntables and phono stages.
