These terms will apply when you buy any products from us. Please read them carefully and make sure you understand them before ordering from our site. Please note that before placing an order you will be asked to agree to these terms. If you do not accept these terms, we won’t be able to process your order.

We amend these terms from time to time. Please look at the top of this page to see when these terms were last updated. Every time you order products from us, the terms in force at the time of your order will apply.

Your use of our site is governed by our Website terms of use. We only use your personal information in accordance with our Privacy  and cookie policy. Please take the time to read both of these, as they include important terms which apply to you.

Purchasing Conditions

These Terms & Conditions do apply to all purchasing products on playstereo.com site. The reading and the acceptance of these Terms & Conditions is assumed for every purchasing operation arranged on playstereo.com site.

Descriptions and Product Information

All products displayed on www.playstereo.com are available in stock for immediate shipping, unless the unavailability or the waiting time prior to the shipping has been clearly pointed out on the product page and during the checkout. Moreover, the purchase cannot be completed for products that are out of stock, unless for those products where is expressly indicated the number of waiting days prior to the shipping. 

All products displayed on www.playstereo.com are for illustrative purposes only and available only whilst stocks last. Although we have made every effort to reflect the complete description of functionalities and the exact product finishes, we are unable to guarantee that the description is totally updated or that your computer’s display accurately reflects the true finish of the products.

All drawings, photos, descriptive matter, technical specifications and advertising issued on this website and any photos or listings contained in PlayStereo catalogues or brochures are issued or published for the sole purpose of giving an approximate idea of the products described in them and they will not form part of the contract with you.

Purchasing Products

You can purchase our products through our online checkout process or by email, or by telephone. Please refer to the Telephone Sales section below for the numbers.

Our shopping pages will guide you through the steps you need to take to place an order with us through our website. Our order process allows you to check and amend your order before submitting it to us. Please take the time to read and check your order at each stage of the process. After you place an order, you will receive an e-mail from us acknowledging that we have received your order. However, please note that this does not mean that your order has been accepted by us and we reserve the right at all times and at our sole discretion to refuse to accept any orders. We will confirm our acceptance to you by sending you an e-mail that confirms that the order has gone through processing. The contract between us will only be formed when we send you this email confirmation. If we are unable to supply you with a product, we will inform you by e-mail and we will not process your order and we immediately refund you the relative paid amount. 

Product Prices

Prices quoted include VAT at 22% (Italian Tax) and are subject to change if the applicable rate of VAT changes before your order is accepted. 

If your delivery address is outside of EU, we suggest you to register and login and insert your shipping informations - This way you will be able to see prices VAT free, the ones that effectively will be applied in case of order. Infact, products that are to be delivered outside of the European Union will have a VAT deduction applied within the checkout when a valid non-EU delivery address is entered, and your package will be sent DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid). Your order may then be subject to import duties and taxes which are applied when the delivery reaches its destination. Please note that we have no control over these charges and we cannot predict their amount. You will be responsible for paying any such local sales tax or import duties arising at the delivery destination, as these are not included in the price of the products. Import duty or tax costs will be invoiced directly to you from the courier or an import broker. We recommend you contact your local customs authority to determine a landed cost price prior to placing your order.

If your delivery address is a European Union country and you are purchasing as a private, you see prices ( any currency shown) taxes included and no additional tax/custom fee will apply. 

If you are a firm or a business man with a VAT No. resident in any European Union country (Italy excepted), you may register as a firm, inserting your European VAT No. This way, the VAT free prices will be shown to you and you can purchase VAT free; a regular commercial invoice will be sent to you for intraCommunity purchases and for the “reverse-charge” VAT mechanism. Please see instructions. 

NON-EU Customer: you are welcome -- please contact us for any customs matter before the purchase or prior to the shipping.

All prices for our products exclude postage and packaging, which will be charged at the rates advised to you during the checkout process before you confirm your order. To verify how much the shipping cost is, please add the product(s) to the basket and begin the checkout process; in the Shipping section of the Checkout, after selected the destination address, you will be shown the shipping fee for any available carrier/shipping method. 

Despite our best efforts, it is possible that some of the products on our site may be incorrectly priced. If we discover an error in the price of the products you have ordered we will contact you to let you know. You then have the option of continuing with the purchase at the correct price or to cancel the order. We will not process your order until we have your instructions. If we haven’t been able to contact you using the details you provided during the order process, then we will treat the order as cancelled and let you know in writing. Your payment shall not be deemed to have been received by us when we have received payment in cleared funds.

If you exercise a right to cancel your order but the products have already been dispatched, please follow the Returns Procedure set out below Returns and Exchanges.

How to Pay

You can pay for products using a Visa / Mastercard debit card or credit card, PayPal or e-vouchers (to be implemented, see below). Please refer to our Shipping and Payments page for the debit and credit cards we accept. Payment for the products and all applicable delivery charges will be taken at the time of ordering. Or in case of selection of the Bank transfer payment method, you may order the wire transfer after the order confirmation using our bank details that will be shown and email sent. If you select the Cash on delivery (COD) payment method ( only valid for delivery within Italy), you may pay to the carrier that delivers. The Cash on delivery method has a fixed fee amount tipically of 4,50 Euros, so in the case you select this one, the total order amount will be charged of this fixed amount.  

E-Vouchers and Stored Credit

The Playstereo e-voucher ( option to be implemented) is an online gift certificate that can ONLY be redeemed online and in Euros at www.playstereo.com . It cannot be redeemed at any Playstereo shops, Playstereo Studio or third party stores. A Playstereo e-voucher can be purchased in decimal amounts between €20,00 and €1.000,00.

Please note that e-vouchers are not refundable. You can buy an e-voucher from us by following the instructions on the website and once your payment has cleared, the e-voucher will be sent to the recipient’s email address that you set out in your order. The recipient will be responsible for its safekeeping and proper use. From time to time e-vouchers can get caught up in spam filters, and the recipient should make sure they check these filters.

We cannot be held responsible for any e-voucher which is emailed to an incorrect address that you supplied, or which is lost, stolen or deleted. We also cannot take responsibility for e-vouchers that cannot be delivered to the recipient’s email address because of spam filters, firewalls or other security measures operating on their system, capacity of their mailbox or any other factors outside our control.

The e-voucher will contain a voucher code and the recipient will be required to register an account at www.playstereo.com so that they can redeem the e-voucher as stored credit. They can view the balance when they log into their account, and when submitting an order they will be given the option to redeem the stored credit at checkout. The recipient can spend above the stored credit value using their debit/credit card or PayPal to pay the difference, or spend less, in which case the remaining stored credit will stay on their account for future use.

Orders paid for with stored credit that are subsequently returned or cancelled will be refunded as stored credit.

We reserve the right not to accept stored credit in payment or part payment for any products where we reasonably suspect that the original e-voucher or any amount on it may have been stolen, re-sold or otherwise misappropriated or if we suspect any fraudulent use or attempted use.

Delivery

We will take all reasonable steps to deliver your products within the periods shown at the checkout. However, delivery times can be  subjected to stock availability (for example for “blue” products that do need additional days to be shipped), and to possible delays due to credit card authorisation, compliance with customs controls (for shipping outside of the European Union) and other factors outside our control. We will advise you as soon as practicable if there is a delay or likelihood of delay in the supply of products. If the products cannot be delivered within the indicated terms during the checkout, we will notify you of this delay and you may either cancel your order or agree a further delivery time with us. Please note that delivery of your order may take longer during sale or other busy periods.

We can only ship to countries featured in the shipping list. Please note that we do not ship to PO Boxes.

If an incorrect destination country is selected during the checkout process, or the address entered doesn't correspond to the country selected, we will cancel your order and notify you by e-mail. In the interest of security, we reserve the right to despatch the product(s) purchased on this site to the billing address belonging to the credit card used as payment and not to the nominated delivery address supplied by you.

You will need to ensure somebody is available to sign for receipt of the products at the delivery address. If there is nobody at the delivery address to take delivery and sign for the products, you can contact the courier to arrange a new delivery time. We cannot be responsible for any delivery problems arising from incomplete or incorrect address details supplied by you.

Delivery of an order shall be completed when we deliver the products to the address detailed in your order and the products will be your responsibility from that time. You own the products once we have received payment in full, including all applicable delivery charges. If you prevent delivery of the products by, for example, failing to supply the courier or your local customs, tax office with necessary information or documentation, or failing to pay local customs, taxes or courier’s administration fees so your package is returned to Playstereo, any resulting return postage or courier’s administration fees incurred will be deducted from the amount refunded to you in respect of that order.

Product safety

All products sold satisfy the CE, RoHs and other applicable safety standards. Important advice regarding the use of products that may be configured differently by the final user.  If you ordered a product that contains settings in the inside circuit, please apply the following guidelines:

Reads the User Manual and/or contact us prior to open/disassemble the unit. Remove the power cord from the product before opening it. Don't open the product cover if you don't own the necessary knowledge to avoid any damage to persons/things. Audio Azimuth cannot be held responsible for any activity that regards the opening of the products ignoring the most common safety regulations. Please contact our technical specialist via email.

Click & Collect

You can also order your products for delivery to our offices in Pescara - Italy, in Via Caravaggio 209.

It’s also possible to pay cash on delivery when you collect ( in this case please select the appropriate options during the checkout). 

We will send you an email confirmation letting you know your order is ready for collection at our offices. You will need to collect your order from our shop within the timescale specified in our despatch confirmation or, if no timescale is specified, within 14 days of our notice that your order is ready for collection unless we agree a longer collection period with you.

If you are having your products ready to be collected at our offices, when collecting your order you will need to present both:

  • Your order confirmation (either printed or on a phone or tablet device) AND
  • A valid photo ID (identity card, driving license or passport only) or the debit/credit card used to pay for the order.

For PayPal and e-voucher orders you will need to bring photo ID (identity card, driving license or passport).

If you authorise somebody else to collect the products from our shop on your behalf, they will also be required to present the information above. Please note, the valid photo ID is yours not the person collecting the order.

If you fail to collect your order within these timescales, your order will be returned to our warehouse and will no longer be available for collection. We will automatically refund the original purchase price of your order. Please refer to our Refund Policy below.

Returns and Exchanges

The customer has the right to withdraw from the contract and to return the ordered goods, without penalty and without giving any reason, within the term of 30 days from the receiving of the goods.

The terms for the right of withdrawal (returns) relative to used/2nd hand products ( only the product with [2nd hand] or [usato] are considered 2nd hand products) is 14 days from the receiving. 

The right of withdrawal must be exercised by the consumer, under penalty of losing the right, sending a communication in any form ( suggested use: login on www.playstereo.com -> My account -> Order history and details -> look for the order you want to return and click on it -> Click on the product(s) to return -> Clicca on “Request Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)” or send us an email to: info@playstereo.com) and look for our answer containing the return instructions at short.. This communication can be also sent to the +39 (0)85-7992694 fax number, within the same term, or via a registered letter to: Audio Azimuth / Playstereo - Via Caravaggio 209 - 65125 Pescara - Italy.

The returns must be in original conditions, with all original packing/accessories included. The returns must be authorized from the Playstereo customer service prior to be shipped back. The customer can ship back the goods using an express carrier to the address indicated above. Cash on delivery shipments will not be accepted. If the receiving goods are damaged, or missing of any accessory or of any packing material or they are in a no-reselling conditions, a diminishing value will be agreed or the withdrawal cannot be exercised and the goods will be returned to the customer with shipping charges at his cost.

Once received the goods, and within the maximim term of 10 days after the receiving them, Playstereo will order the refund (usually the refund takes place within 48 working hours since the receiving of the goods). 

In the case of returns of defective products covered by warranty, the shipping back fees are at our cost if our carrier is used. Also, ONLY for products when expressely indicated ( showed by the “Try it for 30 days” tab in the product page and by the presence of the “[P]” sign into the invoice order document, the fees of the eventual shipping back will be at our cost if our carrier/instructions are used for the return. The “Try it for 30 days” is at the moment only valid for Germany, France, Belgium, The Netherlands and UK customers ( with shipping address to these countries).

Further information about the returns

After you communicated the will to return a product and obtained the authorization, and after you shipped back the products following our guidelines, we will give you the money back if the products are not damaged and complete with original box and accessories, in original conditions. We will refund you the shipping fee eventually paid (outbond fees), although this refund is limited to the cheapest shipping method you could have chosen. We will refund as soon as possible, usually within 48 working hours from the receiving of the returned product and in every case within 10 days from the receiving of the product. If you are returning a defective product covered by warranty or sent for error, we also will refund the return shipping fees if you ship with our carrier.  

Refund Method

Any refund will be done using the same payment method used in the original order. In case of a cash on delivery payment method, the refund will take place as a bank wire transfer.

 

How to return a product

When you are returning a product, please insert in the original box and please use an additional external carton box, with care to accurately protect the content so to limit any risk to damage in transit. You are responsible for the integrity of the product until it is in your hands and until it is delivered to our address, if the packaging has not been done correctly. Please contact us in case of any doubt and for additional information.

Any notice, which we are required to give to you regarding the services, may be sent by e-mail or first class-post to the address provided by you during your order process or your address you have registered with us from time to time.

Unless otherwise explicitly stated, notices to us must be sent by registered mail or by email to the address above.

Notices sent by e-mail are deemed to be received 24 hours after an e-mail is sent unless we receive a notification that the e-mail address is invalid. Registered mail and first class-post will be deemed received 3 days following the date of mailing.

General

These terms sets out the entire understanding and agreement between you and us in relation to your purchase of products from us. No other person shall have any right to enforce these terms. Nothing in these terms shall create or imply any agency, partnership, joint venture, employee-employer or franchisor-franchisee relationship between you and us. Headings are for reference purposes only and in no way define, limit, construe or describe the scope or extent of the provisions to which they relate.

If any provision in these terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck out and the rest of the terms shall remain in full force and effect. You may only transfer your rights or your obligations under these terms to another person if we agree in writing. Our failure to act with respect to a breach by you or others shall not be considered as a waiver of our right to act with respect to subsequent or similar breaches.

Governing Law

these terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by and construed in accordance with Italian law and you agree that the Italian courts will have exclusive jurisdiction for any dispute under this agreement.
