FiiO has unveiled a new R2R model for its renowned K11 desktop DAC/AMP. Featuring a custom-built fully differential 24-Bit R2R Resistor Array, the K11 R2R provides listeners with a smooth and rich audio experience. It includes dual NOS/OS operating modes, each offering distinct sound qualities. The DAC/AMP comes with two headphone output options: a 6.35mm single-ended port and a 4.4mm balanced port. Fully-Differential 24-Bit R2R DAC Array

FiiO has incorporated its newly designed four-channel fully differential 24-bit R2R resistor array in the K11 R2R. This array consists of 48 resistors per channel, totaling 192 high-precision ultra-thin film resistors with 0.1% accuracy and minimal temperature drift across the four channels. This design ensures a clean, crisp output with a dark background, thanks to the specially developed audio circuit architecture.

NOS/OS Dual Operating Modes

The FiiO K11 R2R offers dual operating modes: NOS (Non-Oversampling) and OS (Oversampling). These modes can be switched freely and provide distinct sound characteristics. NOS mode retains the original sampling rate during signal processing, resulting in a more musical presentation, while OS mode upsamples all signals to 384kHz, offering more detail and clarity.

Powerful Amp Section

The K11 R2R is equipped with a professionally designed amplifier circuit, including Ti OPA1642 as low-pass filters and dual SGM8262 professional-grade operational amplifiers. With an output power of up to 1300mWx2, the K11 R2R can easily drive demanding headphones. It also features three-level gain modes for compatibility with both sensitive and high-power equipment. The device uses the NJW1195A precise digital volume chipset for accurate volume adjustments with low distortion between channels.

Dual Headphone Output Ports

The K11 R2R includes dual headphone output ports: a single-ended 6.35mm port and a balanced 4.4mm port. This allows users to pair a variety of IEMs and headphones with the K11 R2R, enjoying high-resolution music in all its glory.

High-Resolution

The FiiO K11 R2R supports high-resolution audio signal decoding, including PCM and DSD processing up to 32-bit/384kHz PCM and DSD256. DSD256 requires the DSD output mode to be set to native, and it is internally converted to PCM for R2R signal processing.

Power Supply

The K11 R2R features a professionally designed low-noise power supply, comprising 17 low-noise LDO precision voltage regulator ICs and 2 DC-DCs for a multi-channel power supply. It also benefits from an external 12V power supply, ensuring a clean output with minimal noise and distortion. The K11 R2R delivers high-quality sound to its users.
