The New X Driver Prestige Series

Where it all begins. Featuring our new 4th generation drivers, the Prestige Series is the best way to experience the storied Grado sound for the first time. Including both our first-ever headphone and metal pair, these classics embody seven decades of Grado Labs audio.

Easy Going

The simplest way to experience Grado sound, the SR80x produces an impressive soundstage in an affordable headphone.

Your Music is More
Everyone loves a thumping bass and kick-drum, but not at the expense of everything else. The Grado SR80X is your entry to the world of full spectrum audio. You'll actually hear notes you never knew were there. Perhaps your audiophile friends have fueled a desire for the legendary Grado sound but you thought it was out of reach. Try a pair of our affordable open-back headphones and experience fuller, more realistic sound. Club-footed imports can't match the sonic enlightenment from Brooklyn, USA.

The sound of Metal

With its metal housing, the SR325x brings a surgical precision to your music that you won’t find in the rest of the Prestige Series. Better imaging of the space between the instruments paints a clearer picture of your music in their soundstage.

Signature Sound

The clarity and range of Grado headphones can reveal new notes and details in songs heard hundreds of times. The driver and housing working in tandem react to sound vibrations and virtually eliminate transient distortions. With warm harmonic colors, smooth top-end, excellent dynamics, and a world renowned mid-range, the SR325x produces a sound that’s pure Grado.

X Series Driver

4th Generation Grado drivers are here. Specifically tuned for the SR325x, this new speaker design features a more powerful magnetic circuit, a voice coil with decreased effective mass, and a reconfigured diaphragm. Reengineering these components for our 44mm drivers improve efficiency, reduces distortion, and preserves the harmonic integrity of your music.

New Cables & Headband

Along with the speakers, the cables and headband have been redesigned for the SR325x. Now housed in a more durable exterior, the 8-conductor cable transfers more information and features a super annealed copper wire for improved purity of the audio signal. The new headband features more cushion for a comfier experience.

Hand-Built in Brooklyn

Each SR325x is hand-built by our team in Brooklyn. This headphone goes from workbench to workbench until it’s ready for your ears. We started building on a kitchen table in 1953, and every experience since then has led to the creation of the SR325x.
