Its coaxial dual dynamic driver design, integrated high-performance DSP, and dedicated headphone amplifier work together to deliver accurate positional audio, highly detailed sound reproduction, and ultra-low latency. Featuring a detachable ENC microphone, virtual 7.1 surround sound, browser-based audio customization, and broad platform compatibility, the FG3 is designed for gaming, entertainment, and everyday listening.

Coaxial Dual Dynamic Driver Design

The FG3 features a coaxial dual dynamic driver configuration that combines a 50 mm driver and a 16 mm driver into a single acoustic source. This design ensures outstanding phase consistency and directional accuracy, resulting in improved spatial imaging for competitive gaming. An electronic two-way crossover assigns the low and mid frequencies to the larger driver, while the smaller driver reproduces the high frequencies. The result is an extended frequency response with enhanced detail retrieval, without sacrificing powerful sound output.

Drivers Designed Specifically for Competitive Gaming

The 50 mm driver with a composite diaphragm delivers powerful bass and midrange performance while improving vocal clarity, making it easier to distinguish teammates' communications and positional cues.

The 16 mm titanium-coated dynamic driver enhances high-frequency detail, allowing footsteps, ambient sounds, and subtle directional effects to be reproduced with greater precision.

Virtual 7.1 Surround Sound

A specially developed virtual 7.1 surround algorithm transforms conventional stereo into an immersive three-dimensional soundstage, enhancing both spatial awareness and in-game immersion. Explosions, overhead movement, and positional effects are reproduced with greater depth and realism. Virtual 7.1 processing is available in both Cinema Mode and Action (ACT) Mode.

Detachable ENC Microphone

The detachable microphone utilizes an intelligent Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) algorithm to effectively reduce unwanted background noise, such as keyboard and mouse sounds, while focusing on the user's voice for clearer communication.

It also supports hardware sidetone monitoring with adjustable levels through FIIO Control WEB, allowing users to hear their own voice naturally while gaming.

Browser-Based Audio Customization

The FG3 supports FIIO Control WEB, enabling users to customize audio directly from a web browser without installing any software or drivers. Users can create and save custom 10-band EQ profiles, switch between gaming and entertainment presets, and adjust microphone monitoring settings for different listening scenarios.

Dedicated Gaming and Entertainment Modes

Optimized sound presets are available for FPS, MOBA, Action (ACT), Rhythm (MUG), Cinema, and Music playback. Each profile is specifically tuned for its intended application, allowing users to instantly change the headset's sound signature with a single click.

The FPS, MOBA, and MUG presets do not enable virtual 7.1 surround sound processing.

Cross-Platform Compatibility

The driver-free USB connection provides true plug-and-play functionality across a wide range of devices. The headset supports Windows 7, 8, 10, and 11, as well as compatible smartphones and laptops. It also automatically switches between UAC 1.0 and UAC 2.0 modes to ensure compatibility with PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
