To obtain the conductor material employed in the SPC-710, we took the proven 5N high-purity, oxygen free-copper and implemented annealing under near-ideal conditions. This heating and cooling under specific conditions gives a molecular structure of exceptional density and results in a material which is free from mechanical stress, distortions and impurities. We also gave the conductor core wire 133 strands in a 2-core flat structure for ease of use. Moreover, in the sheath we employed a newly developed polyolefin and a special structure including a Teflon/paper tape winding to lower relative permittivity, and reduce static capacitance. This has allowed us to control the inductance which can adversely affect sound quality. The result is a cable offering superb energy balance across all bands and crisp clear sound reproduction.
