They are very stable even if 1m high. This certainly depends on which speakers you put on them, I use mini-speakers.
I must say I filled them with sand, as is recommended in the instructions.
They are very neutral and do not add a noticeable coloration to the sound of the speakers, they certainly will show you all that your mini-speakers are capable of! You might not like the defects of your speakers ... but if they are good these stands are a recommended complement.
These stands do exactly what they are meant to do.
To improve on these you must spend twice.
