High-voltage lithium battery for true mobility
A 4700 mAh 3.85 V lithium battery powers the player for around seven hours. Because the battery operates at a higher voltage, the analog circuit maintains strong output swing and clean performance even when you are away from your desk. Charging is fast, taking about two hours with PD3.0 fast charging, so it is always ready for spontaneous listening.

FiiO discrete R2R DAC for natural sound
At the heart of the DM15R2R is the in-house developed FiiO R2R DAC. Instead of a traditional delta-sigma architecture, it uses a resistor ladder to convert digital data into analog waveforms. The result is a smoother, more organic sound appreciated by many listeners. The player also features low noise and distortion levels, with THD+N below 0.030% at 1 kHz and a signal-to-noise ratio of at least 112 dB, ensuring quiet passages remain silent and dynamic passages remain powerful.

Balanced and single-ended outputs to suit your listening style
Both a 3.5 mm single-ended headphone output and a 4.4 mm fully balanced headphone output are available, each with its own dedicated amplification. The balanced output delivers up to 1150 mW per channel in desktop mode, while the single-ended output offers easier driving for high-efficiency headphones.
Line-out options are equally flexible, as both the 3.5 mm and 4.4 mm outputs are designed for use with amplifiers or active speakers.

Bluetooth, when you want to go wireless
If you want to cut the cables, the DM15R2R can transmit Bluetooth signals to your favorite wireless headphones or speakers. Supported codecs include SBC, aptX, aptX-HD, aptX-LL, and aptX-Adaptive. This allows you to easily listen to your discs without being tethered by a cable, which is especially useful while cooking, moving around the living room, or in any situation where cables may be inconvenient.

ESP anti-vibration support for more stable playback
The ESP switch stabilizes playback if the player is moved or repositioned. It reduces the likelihood of interruptions when walking or carrying the device from one room to another. Once seated at a desk or on the couch, you can leave it on or off. The player will read the disc reliably in either case.

Infrared remote control for contact-free operation
If the DM15R2R is across the room, you can use the included infrared remote control to manage basic transport functions without picking up the unit. You can skip tracks, pause, stop, or adjust output modes while staying seated. It is a small feature, but it makes the listening experience more relaxed, especially when the player is paired with speakers or an amplifier.

Special laser lens for CD players for stable disc reading
The DM13 has been on the market for over a year. Its disc-reading performance has been significantly improved through several updates and optimizations. Building on these improvements, the DM15R2R is further developed, with significant investment in adapting to specific disc shapes and introducing a steel button with automatic reset to ensure smoother insertion and removal and to prevent disc damage.
The disc-reading capability of the DM15R2R corresponds to the new firmware version of the DM13.
Due to the limitations of the portable movement mechanism, perfect reading of all CDs cannot be guaranteed. Firmware updates will be implemented in the future to continuously optimize disc-reading performance.
Due to differences in movement, disc material, and recording environment, frame skipping when reading a limited number of high-capacity CDs is a normal phenomenon.

Supports USB audio capture function
Supports recording while listening to music, allowing you to save your favorite CDs in WAV format to portable storage devices and share the melodies on the go with friends.
Only FAT32-formatted portable storage devices are supported.
Only CDDA audio ripping is supported. It is recommended to use a Type-C USB flash drive with a capacity of 32 GB or less for updates or ripping.
