2nd-Generation In-House Developed Planar Magnetic Driver

The FiiO FP3 features a 14.5 mm second-generation planar magnetic driver fully developed by FiiO’s expert acoustic engineers. It includes a 1 µm ultra-thin diaphragm with a patented dual-layer coating design. Thanks to FiiO’s professional tuning, the FP3 provides a wide soundstage, deep bass reproduction, and detailed, extended treble, with a frequency response reaching up to 40 kHz. The driver is nanometer-precision engineered and manufactured using advanced 28 nm process technology.

Ultra-Thin Diaphragm & Precision-Built Driver

The FP3’s planar magnetic driver uses an ultra-thin 1 µm diaphragm made of high-performance PET as its base material. Its lightweight and ultra-thin structure allows for lightning-fast movement, leading to faster transients, improved dynamics, and low distortion in audio output.

FiiO’s patented dual-coating system features both aluminum and titanium layers on the PET diaphragm—aluminum as the first layer, and titanium as the second—forming a high-performance dual-coated driver unit.

Ultra-Strong Magnetic Architecture

Each FP3 driver contains 14 high-powered N52 neodymium magnets—seven on each side—arranged symmetrically. This balanced magnetic layout provides uniform force distribution on both sides of the diaphragm, ensuring smooth, controlled movement. The result is greater sound efficiency, reduced distortion, and a more refined sound.

Enhanced Bass Reproduction with Tesla Valve Acoustic Technology

The FiiO FP3 includes the same patented “Tesla Valve” bass enhancement technology used in the acclaimed FD15 in-ear monitors. The length, angle, and number of acoustic channels inside the FP3 housing are optimized to form a smooth Tesla Valve structure. This significantly enhances the bass response, delivering deep, immersive low frequencies.

New Ergonomic Design for Maximum Comfort

The FP3 ensures a comfortable wearing experience with precisely crafted earpieces. The front housings are 3D-printed from high-quality material and include a special support structure in the concave area for improved stability and comfort.

Visually, the FP3 is striking—featuring stabilized wood faceplates in either rosewood or black walnut. Each earbud weighs only 6.5 g, making them so light they practically disappear in your ears.

Premium-Quality Stock Cable

The FiiO FP3 comes equipped with a high-purity silver-plated copper cable. It’s a 4-core design with a total of 392 individual conductors. Each conductor is individually enameled and insulated to ensure smooth signal transmission and eliminate microphonics.

The strands are braided in a Litz structure, and the cable features standard 0.78 mm 2-pin connectors.
