The speakers are positioned on the sides to leave room for the player. This side-firing design creates a more even and balanced sound field, distributing the music more naturally throughout the room.

The USB port is used for both data transfer and power delivery. The speaker automatically charges or draws power as soon as it is connected. FIIO recommends avoiding connections to smartphones or tablets to prevent excessive battery drain.

Driver-free UAC 1.0 support is available for sampling rates of 44.1 kHz, 48 kHz, and 96 kHz.
