Each speaker features a 5.25-inch “Continuum” composite fibre woofer, crafted from materials inspired by the legendary B&W 700-series design. This driver provides remarkable rigidity and low distortion, delivering deep, powerful bass with exceptional control and clarity. Complementing it is a 1-inch silk soft-dome tweeter with a specially designed hemispherical internal cavity that absorbs unwanted harmonics and resonance, extending the treble for crystal-clear highs and silky-smooth detail.

Power is supplied by independent 120W switching PSUs, ensuring identical, interference-free energy to both the main and secondary speakers. This results in consistent dynamic range and outstanding accuracy, regardless of playback volume. The low-noise NJW1195A electronic volume control allows ultra-precise adjustment in 0.5dB steps, maintaining a signal-to-noise ratio up to 100dB and distortion as low as 0.0003%.

Connectivity is extremely versatile: XLR balanced input, RCA, AUX, and Bluetooth 5.1 with support for LDAC and aptX Adaptive codecs. The SP5 also integrates seamlessly with the FiiO Control App, providing full access to ten-band PEQ tuning, input selection, Bluetooth codec management, RGB lighting, and power-saving options. It’s an all-in-one hub for both studio precision and home enjoyment.

Engineered for resonance-free performance, the SP5 cabinet is constructed using a 650°C aviation-grade liquid-aluminum die-casting process. Each 10kg aluminum ingot is transformed into a rigid, acoustically inert enclosure that suppresses vibration and provides natural heat dissipation. The curved anti-standing-wave design, combined with diffuser-shaped horizontal stripes, ensures stable imaging and neutral tonal balance across the entire frequency range.
