Grado’s Signature S750 Headphones Featuring New S2 Drivers and Cushion Design

October 15th, 2025, Brooklyn, NY – Grado Labs, world-renowned designer and manufacturer of award-winning headphones, announces the launch of the Signature S750 headphones, the latest addition to its acclaimed Signature Line. As the third model in the line, the S750 builds on the award-winning stature of the Signature HP100 SE and Signature S950, offering another entry point into Grado’s expanding Signature collection, while staying true to the company’s tradition of uncompromising craftsmanship and sound quality. The S750 features a new ground-up driver design and sees the introduction of a new cushion.

The Grado Signature S750 are high-end open-back headphones and part of Grado Labs’ renowned Signature Line, designed to deliver an immersive and highly detailed listening experience. They feature a new 50 mm S2 driver, developed entirely from the ground up, with a carbon-fiber and paper composite diaphragm and a lightweight copper-clad aluminum voice coil, resulting in a natural sound with wide dynamics and excellent detail retrieval.

The headphones use a detachable cable system from the Signature Gold series, with a softer, lighter, and more durable braided cable terminated in a 6.3 mm plug. The headphone-side connection is a 4-pin balanced mini XLR, allowing compatibility with optional cables of different lengths and terminations, including balanced options.

A key new element of this model is the “B-style” ear cushion, designed to improve both comfort and acoustic performance. It positions the driver closer to the ear and creates a smaller internal chamber for better tonal balance. The cushion features eight precision vents that enhance airflow, expand the soundstage, preserve detail, and reduce listening fatigue during long sessions.

The structure is made from machined aluminum and hand-assembled in Brooklyn, New York, ensuring strength while remaining lightweight (approximately 460 g, over 10% lighter than the HP100 SE). The leather headband is slimmer but includes 50% more padding for long-term comfort, while components such as the engraved aluminum alloy gimbals and stainless-steel rods provide durability and smooth adjustment.
