HiFiMAN HE-Adapter for Amplifier and low-efficiency headphones
HE-Adapter is a device to protect amplifiers and headphones when using a speaker amplifier to drive HE-6, HE-5LE, Susvara and other low-sensibility HIFIMAN Headphones that are connected the speaker connectors of a regular integrated amplifier.
It protects both the amp and headphone at the same time. It also contribute to match the impedances between the one of the amplifier and the one of the headphone. Mostly match the amp because the model of headphone can't be detected.
HE-Adapter is not for any high or average efficiency headphones, such as Ananda and Sundara.
