The SnowSky Disc is a digital audio player (DAP) that not only offers smooth navigation through FiiO’s proprietary Linux-based operating system, but is also convenient for users looking for a device to listen to music on smartphones without a headphone jack.
When you connect the Disc DAP to the back of your smartphone, you have two options: you can listen to music stored on the microSD card inserted into the digital audio player, or you can connect the DAP to your phone via a USB cable to play tracks from streaming services such as Spotify, YouTube Music, Apple Music, or Tidal.

AirPlay, Roon*
A complete streaming solution, all on one device. *Roon Ready functionality is currently under development and will be supported in a future firmware update.

Sufficient output power for most portable headphones.
Thanks to an output power of 280 mW from the 4.4 mm balanced headphone output, the Disc is capable of driving most portable headphones, including in-ear monitors (IEMs), earbuds, and on-ear models.

Internal battery
You no longer have to worry about your smartphone battery draining when connected via USB for streaming playback. Two gain levels are also available for more precise volume control, particularly useful for high-sensitivity, low-impedance headphones.

Large music storage capacity
The Disc supports microSD cards up to 2 TB, providing ample storage capacity for music files such as MP3 or FLAC. In addition, according to FiiO, this portable audio player can scan 5,000 tracks in just 30 seconds.

Firmware updates via Wi-Fi
Thanks to the Disc’s Wi-Fi connectivity, firmware updates can be installed over the air (OTA). This eliminates the need to download the file to a PC and copy it to the microSD card, as is the case with the Echo Mini.

Buttons and controls
Navigation through menus and music albums on the SnowSky Disc is smooth thanks to the use of gesture shortcuts combined with multifunction physical buttons.

Various display themes
The SnowSky Disc allows users to change how information is displayed on the screen by choosing from different graphical themes.
