The Q5s TC employs a dual DAC design, with the left and right channels each equipped with anent-generation AKM AK4493 DAC chip - with its lower distortion, higher signal-to-noise ratio, and greatly more refined mids and highs.

In order to further improve sound quality, the Q5s TC utilises the XMOS XUF208 USB decoding chip aired with a precise clock matching management system, allowing for support up to 768kHz/32-bit PCM and hardware-decoded native DSD - so you can be sure of excellent sound no matter what format your music is in.

With the upgrade to the XMOS clock management system, the Q5s TC has unparalleled decoding capabilities over USB, SPDIF, and Bluetooth. USB supports up to 784kHz/32bit and native hardware decoded DSD512; SPDIF supports up to 192kHz/32bit; and Bluetooth supports up to 96kHz/32bit (under LDAC).

Combining 2 into 1 for simpler operation

The original Q5 TC has a separate power button and volume knob. However with the Q5s TC, turning it on and off is controlled by simply turning the volume knob past a certain point - making it more convenient and easier to use.

Say goodbye to imbalance with ADC volume adjustment 

You no longer have to be annoyed by tony volume imbalances between the left and right channel with ADC volume adjustment on the Q5s TC. The ADC curve reconstruction process effectively eliminates any channel volume imbalances that occur when adjusting the volume though a traditional analog potentiometer, and also allows for much greater precision in adjusting the volume in tiny steps. 

No need to install drivers - Fully compatible with both USB Audio 1.0&2.0

For ultimate convenience, you can simply enable the USB Audio 1.0 mode to experience decoding up to 96kHz/24bit PCM without needing to install any drivers. (Press and hold the previous track button, then connect via USB to start USB Audio 1.0 mode).
