Specifically designed for the iPhone
By connecting the included Lightning-tomicro USB cable from the iPhone to the Q3, you can continue to use your 3.5mm headphone jack headphones for the highest-quality audio. Your iPhone has never sounded so good.
Android compatibility: Q3 is a standard DAC & Amplifier that supports USB input, following the USB audio transmission specification. Theoretically,it supports any players with USB audio output, which means as long as your Android phone supports OTG audio output, it can be used with Q3. But the USB output of some Android phones are not so standard, so whether Q3 can work normally for your Android phones, it depends on the Android phone, instead of Q3. THX AAA-28 Amplifier
The Q3's amplifier stage uses a THX AAA-28 chip that incorporates specific technology to achieve a very low level of distortion for high output, while maintaining a neutral and pure sound.
The digital/analog conversion stage is entrusted to an AKM AK4462 DAC chip, which incorporates the proprietary Velvet Sound technology. This chip supports high sample rates up to PCM 32 bit 768 kHz and up to native DSD512. So you can enjoy your high resolution files and the smallest details of your favorite songs.
USB XMOS Interface
An XMOS XUF208 chip ensures that the Q3 receives high-quality USB audio signals, while also enabling support for high-resolution files, so you can take full advantage of the Q3's DAC performance.
In continuity with the other models already offered by FiiO, the Q3 takes up the design, sober and elegant thanks to the soft curves. The housing is made of aluminum and is particularly robust.
Connectors and LED indicator
The Q3 features full connectivity, with an unbalanced 3.5mm jack and a balanced 2.5mm/4.4mm jack output.It will then allow you to connect all kinds of headphones to it.
The volume knob's RGB LED indicator changes color, allowing you to quickly identify the sample rate of the file being played.

The Q3 adapts to all situations and all types of listening. A switch allows for example to activate or not the Bass Boost function. For this functionality, a hardware circuit increases the gain by 6dB in the low frequencies, without affecting the mids and Plus, for more convenient use, a multifunction knob lets you quickly select a gain level or filter.
Using an analog volume control, the Q3 ensures precise adjustment of the volume level. An ADC reconstruction curve also allows you to overcome the typical problems of analog controls.
Leveraging an 1800mAh battery, the FiiO Q3 offers a significant battery life of at least 10 hours or more in USB decoding mode.
The Q3 with its aluminum housing and copper-nickel shielding effectively rejects RFI interference that could affect signal quality.
