Single Core Cable has become flexible.
Single Core Cable is made from help of many maker which specializes in certain material. It has been used in major record companies, recording and mastering of excellent recording labels.
Why does it have to be single core?
Till now, most of cables where made from thin wire which are twisted. Straying electric current in twisted line structure, which produces incidental sound outbreak of distortion. High frequency electric transmits well through large surfaced conductor.
Then way has twist line been adopted till now? That is because of the flexibility and easy use.
Flexible cable is easy to produce from the point of manufactures view. Also it is easy for the user to handle it.
Developed a PCOCC-A oval single core newly!
ACOUSTIC REVIVE has newly developed PCOCC-A oval shaped single core structured cable.
To secure flexibility, the cables needs to anneal processed. A lot of companies adopts 6N anneal.
But 6N (99.9999%) decreases conductivity because of impurities gets mixed and purity declines no matter how the copper is pure, becoming to 2N-3N when applied into audio cables.
ACOUSTIC REVIVE`s has annealed the single crystal PCOCC to secure flexibility. Which is the PCOCC-A. Originally, single crystal PCOCC is able to keep purity, because mixture rate of impurities is low. The PCOCC single-crystal copper will not contain any impurities during annealing process. PCOCC-A`s (A=annealed) conductivity is much higher then 6N. PCOCC-A gives you extremely flat and wide frequency, wide dynamic range. Also low distortion and smooth sound as well. PCOCC-A is to be an ultimate conductor as of today. You will be surprised with sound quality.
The air floating structure that does not disturb energy transmission.
ACOUSTIC REVIVE made a air floating structure to a wide sound and sound quality with a feel of distinguished energy. The reason why we adopted air floating structure, that is because some energetic transmission reaches the cable other then electric current transmission its self. Many cable manufacture filled up the surrounding of the cable by rubber or resin to suppress vibration of cable in itself. But this spoils the energy transmission. This leads to sound loosing a feel of energy.
Natural silk tube developed which retains a feeling of life without harming sound quality.
We got the biggest silk maker in Japan to develop the natural silk tube. This silk tube is a buffer material which establish the air layer. This gives a feeling of life without harming the sound quality.
The influence of what material is used near the conductor is very big. Some cable manufacture uses PVC as a buffer material, which is particularly worst. This is why we adopted natural silk.
The flexible Teflon coating copper tube which brings the perfect shield effect without side effects.
An assortment line has been used for a shield until now. Even assortment shield said to be high assortment percentage, actually there is a lot of gaps. So perfect shield effects are absolutely impossible. In addition, straying electric current occurs on assortment line, same as twist line. Which destroys sounds.
We adopted the flexible Teflon coating copper tube as shield material, which has far more thickness then foil. This copper tube eliminates incidental sound, distortion and gives you overwhelming shield characteristic. Also wonderful flexibility which you can`t get in twist line cables.
CSF tube which cuts noise and absorbs electromagnetic wave.
For outskirts of cable, we adopted CSF tube which contains carbon. Combination with teflon coating copper tube it increases the shield effect. Also, CSF tube cuts noise which comes out from the cable it self. It absorbs electromagnetic waves as well.
Newly developed plug to make use of superior cable structure!
No matter how the cable is superior, if the plug quality is poor, it will destroy sound quality of the cable. A lot of expensive cable on the market uses very cheep plugs, which are made from poor materials and structure. To make the perfect plug, we join developed with a plug manufacture.
What is PCOCC-A?
PCOCC-A is annealed version of PCOCC. PCOCC was devised by professor Mr. Ohno at Chiba Institute of Technology. It does not matter how pure the material is, once it`s annealed, impurities gets into crystal grain and purity declines.
But PCOCC originally does not have crystal grain. So even it gets annealed, it difficult for impurities to get into PCOCC. PCOCC-A is an ideal for cable because it`s high in purity and crystal structure has a characteristic to keep in uniform directionality. PCOCC has hard single crystal, but once it turns to PCOCC-A, conductivity improves and material itself becomes flexible for easy uses.

PCOCC-A oval conductor.
By the cooperation of Furukawa Electrical Industry, ACOUSTIC REVIVE have succeeded to create PCOCC-A oval conductor. Comparison with twisted cables, single core cable does not have an outbreak of straying electric current, which is called strand jump phenomenon.
Single core cable have few incidental sound and outbreak of distortion. Giving flat transmission characteristic. But there was still a problem of outbreak in resonance and feeling of peak.
The new PCOCC-A oval conductor does not carry resonance point and feeling of peak, by the help of Furukawa Electrical Industry.
