Topping TP60 is 80+80W @ 4 ohm Class T Integrated Amplifier using the Tripath TA2022 chip, this makes it best of both worlds as it offers both the audio fidelity of Class-AB and the power efficiency of Class-D amplifiers. Topping TP60 has a big internal traditional power supply section with two oversized toroidal transformers. Two analog inputs, better signal-noise ratio, minimum high frequency hiss; regarding the volume control, it adopts a traditional high-quality ALPS volume potentiometer.
TP60 case is made entirely of CNC machined, anodized aluminum with laser engraved characters.

TP60s considerable size and weight is caused by a dual linear power supplies built into its case. Transformers in these power supplies have been shielded and set in potting resin. Thanks to this interference risk and transformer vibration are minimized.
How does the Topping TP60 sound? Same (Tripath), but pleasantly different (TA2022). It is a bit more laid-back. Everything is there. Soundstage is big. Placement of instruments and voices are well defined. Sound is robust and authoritative with plenty of power for transients. You'll find no thin or dry female vocals here. And the lower end has a richer and more tonally defined sound.
Bottom line? This is a T-amp with muscle and laid-back warmth. If you have less than efficient speakers — or just want more power — and have been looking for T-amp sound (and a heckuva good deal) you won't be disappointed!
TP60 is a high efficiency and low heat of the amplifier. It is worth mentioning that the result of the selection of appropriate inductance, making both the TA2022 chip itself or inductors are extremely low heat. Inappropriate inductance in the system will produce the terrible heat, affect the system stability, resulting in poor sound quality and even the thermal protection system action, a lot of potential danger.
