Moviestar 60 series is one of the most entertaining surround sound systems available today. A good Home Cinema system must be versatile and engaging for both movies and music. It must cover a wide frequency range and be adaptable to a wide variety of rooms and systems and have a class that enables it to blend seamlessly into itʼs surroundings, but these are just the practical considerations.

To be truly excellent, a surround sound system must draw you into the soundtrack or music in such an involving way that you can forget everything else and be swept along with the emotion. It must sound both natural and exciting.

The Moviestar 60 systems have these qualities in abundance, a clean, understated style that is a reflection of a more civilised age, a sound that is fully customisable through an adaptable subwoofer. You can adjust the crossover frequencies, volume and even the phase of the signal - but above all, it has a musicality that combines detail and precision with rhythm, to keep the adrenaline flowing and to make the surround sound experience totally addictive.

Supplied as a package, the Moviestar 60 series is available in two forms. The 65+ model is supplied with a choice of two subwoofers, five passive satellite speakers and cables and brackets for ceiling or wall mounting. Stands are available as an optional extra. This system is for those with an external surround sound processor. The Moviestar 68 5.1 system features a different subwoofer which contains built-in amplification for the sleek and slender floorstanding speakers, two small form rears and the centre channel, as well as power for the subwoofer itself. This enables connection directly to a DVD player (which must have on-board Dolby Digital and/or DTS decoding and analogue outputs), to create a complete surround sound system in a box with the minimum fuss. Fewer boxes, fewer cables and more style.
