- Who is playstereo?

Playstereo Audio Shop presents an unmatched mix of items, ranging from exclusive hi-fi accessories and components to highly reviewed and awarded products, current production & NOS Tubes, and other rare audio accessories. But playstereo is more than products: we can offer precision signal and power tube selection service and a customer care which can help you to choose the best product that fit your needs. Playstereo is an italian-born project; currently english and italian speaking, we can deliver worldwide. Playstereo is a place where audio enthusiasts meet their passion for music reproduction, enjoying an entertaining shopping experience.

Products

- Which products can I find on playstereo?

Playstereo sells only new and first quality products, bought from carefully selected manufacturers, distributors and retailers. The quality of products is assured by meticulous checks. Consequently, playstereo does not sell used or refurbished items.

- How can I find a product?

It's quite simple: select the category (for example: Vibration Isolation, Tubes, etc.) from 'Products' box or button, or select the brand from the manufacturers box. Playstereo will display a first list of results that you can then refine entering into a sub-category, or you can decide to enter into the product detailed description. To find a product you can also use the playstereo QuickFind search engine, entering in the text area of the playstereo homepage one or more words regarding the product you are looking for. Clicking on the Advanced search you can also search into product descriptions or use other search parameters such as price and/or date interval.

- How do I buy a product?

After you have chosen the product you want, if the product has different finish or options, you must select the one you prefer. Than you can click on 'Add to Basket' button, located at the bottom end of the product description page. This will take you to the basket page, where you can decide the quantity items you want to purchase (remember to click on 'Update basket' button if you modify the standard quantity of one). After that you can Continue the shopping or carry on shopping. If you decide to 'Checkout', the checkout process, consisting of three pages, will then start. In the first page, called Delivery Information, you will check and eventually change the shipping address, you will know the shipping charges for your order, and eventually add a comment regarding the products ordered. Pushing the 'Continue' button you enter into the Payment Information page, where you will check and eventually change the billing address and you will select the preferred payment method. After the new click on 'Continue' you will taken to the Order Summary page: here you can find all the information regarding your order. Clicking on 'Confirm Order' your purchase will be sent to playstereo and if you selected the credit card or Paypal payment you will be redirected on a secure server to give financial details, while in other cases the checkout process is finished. Regarding the credit card payment please remember that the transaction is performed by a Banca Sella safe server and therefore your data are protected. Soon after the order you will receive an email confirmation.

- I can't understand what is the price of a product.

Some products are available in different model, option or finish. Infact, you can view the available models clicking on the appropriate box located at the description page bottom, as follows:


If a certain product option has an extra charge in respect to the base or standard version, it is showed in the same box close to the referring model. So, to know the total price of your product you must sum this extra to the base price placed up to the right. Alternately, you can read the total price for your base price plus options, by selecting the desired option and clicking on 'Add to Basket'.
Remember that adding to basket any product do not oblige you to buy them. Infact, from the Basket page you can modify the quantity of the selected product, remove any product, and check the actual amount of your possible purchase.

Orders

- When will I receive my order?

When your products be delivered to your address will depend on the distance our forwarder must cover. Shippings to Europe are currently delivered within 48/72 working hours. A working day is any day between Monday to Friday, except holidays.

- Can I return a product I am not happy with?

Of course. Playstereo's mission is to guarantee your complete satisfaction. If you are not happy with your purchase for any reason, you can return the product and get your money back. Consult the 'Right of withdrawal' section into Terms & Conditions page to find out more.

- How do I send a gift?

It is easy and fun to send a gift. Just add an address entry in 'My address book' section of My Playstereo, and later, during the checkout process of your order, in the Delivery Information page, select this one as current shipping address. Remember to insert the word "GIFT" into the Comment field during the checkout process, so the receiver will not be able to see the price of the products you purchased. If you can, also insert in the Comment field the e-mail address and/or a phone number of the person who will receive the gift and an optional message for them. We will print the message and include it with the products.

- Can I send a gift to someone who does not have an e-mail address?

We ask you for the e-mail address of the person who will receive the gift to avoid deliver problems, since that if we have these info we can contact the person in the case the forwarder cannot deliver the shipping. If the receiver does not have an e-mail or a phone number you will simply have to inform them, if you wish, that they will be receiving the gift. In any case, a copy of the message you left us will be included in the shipping box together with the products.

- Yesterday I saw a product, but today it is no longer available. What's happened?

If the products is not yet displayed, it is not available, and it means that someone else bought it. But keep coming back to browse as we have new stock all the time. We also suggest you to contact us to receive information about the new availability of the product.

- After put an article in the basket, the buying process does not go ahead and I read in the basket page that the product is not available in the requested quantity. What's happened?

If the product is not available, the buying process stops itself because we want you to order only items available for immediate shipping. A product that you can see in the shop, but not buyable, is likely a product in the restocking process. Come back to verify if the product is newly available. In particular, if the raw "Estimated ship: Same business day" is present at the end of any product description, you can be sure that you can complete the relative buying process.

- When does the purchase process end?

The purchase process ends when, after that you have completed the checkout process and received a summary of your order, you will receive another email from playstereo, which confirms your order is fully accepted and it is in the processing phase.

- After I have completed the purchase process, how can I check the order status?

It is very simple: after you logged in, enter to 'My orders' section into My playstereo box. Here you can view your orders history. However you will automatically receive an e-mail every time your order comes to a new status, from Pending, to Processing, to Shipped status.

Payment

- Can I pay cash on delivery?

Cash on delivery payment method is accepted only for domestic (italian) shippings.

- Do I pay VAT taxes on my order?

VAT tax is included in the price that you see on site pages and on the basket. Note for no-European customers: you will not have to pay any VAT to playstereo. If you are not logged on as a registered user you will see added VAT prices, while only if you login with your e-mail and password you will be able to see the correct prices you are going to pay in the case of purchase.

- Will I receive an invoice for my order?

All orders from outside of Italy will always be invoiced using the billing details you registered and that you can change during the checkout process. Instead, according to italian law D.P.R. 696/96, orders from Italy are invoiced only if specified by the customer requesting it in the field Comments during the checkout process.

- How can I pay?

By Credit card, Paypal, Bank transfer, Postal transfer (only for Italy) or Cash on delivery (only for Italy). Playstereo accepts: Visa/CartaSi, MasterCard/EuroCard. Some Visa Electron cards needs to be authorized by the issuer for on-line purchase. In the Payment Information page during the checkout process you will have to select the choosen method in the payment method box.

- How can I be sure that my card details are secure?

Your data is secure with playstereo: all credit card information do not pass on our web-site, but are directly sent to Banca Sella/Gestpay secure server. All communications between your browser and Banca Sella/Gestpay server are SSL3 128 bit encrypted, currently the most secure standard with server-side certification.

- When will my credit card be charged?

When your shipment is dispatched from the playstereo warehouse.

Shipping

- In which countries do you deliver?

We deliver worldwide. The shipping charge showed during the checkout process should be the actual exact shipping costs requested by our forwarder. Please e-mail us to receive any further information about this matter.

- How can I track my order?

As soon as your order have been shipped, you will receive an email containing the tracking number or a link to track your parcel.

- What is the shipping option called 'Registered Shipping' and why sometimes it is not selectable?

The Registered Shipping option is a cheap, secure but slow shipping method that is automatically selectable only if the products in your basket have a weight less than 2 Kg. A parcel shipped as Registered can be delivered in apx. 5 working days. This time can vary second to the destination: so, if you are in a hurry to receiving your products, you are adviced.

- What is a tracking number?

It is a reference number that the courier associates to the shipment. You will find this number in the shipping confirmation e-mail; always use it if you want to contact the mail courier directly or to track your order.

- What happens if there is no one in to receive the delivery?

Our mail couriers delivers from Monday to Friday during office hours and you can't pre-book delivery times. The courier will try to deliver the parcel for two or three working days, leaving a notification each time, with a phone number to call and contact them. After the last failed attempt, the courier wuill take the shipment to its own warehouse waiting for new delivery instrucitons. Lacking these instructions the parcel will be delivered back to playstereo. So we recommend you give a delivery address where you will be easy to find (where you work for example, specifying name, company and office and, if necessary, the internal number or any other useful information.

Registration

- How do I register to My Playstereo?

Registering to My Playstereo is simple and free: click here, then click on 'Continue' and you will be taken to a new page called 'New customer registration'. You must fill in the fields with the requested details, and in the end you must enter your password for playstereo. Remember this password because it will be requested together with your email address every time you will login into My Playstereo.

- What advantages are there for playstereo registered users?

As a playstereo user you can enjoy a number of advantages: access to all your information (personal data, orders history, etc.) through My Playstereo control panel; you can put one or more products into your shopping basket and if you disconnect before the end of the checkout process, you will find again the products into your basket the next time you login; if you signed to playstereo newsletter you will receive periodical email information containing special discounts only reserved to subscribers. Still not registered to playstereo? Register now .

- At the end of the new user registration process, I did not receive any confirmation email from you. Also, trying to login with my email address and my password, I can't enter as a registered user. What's happened?

It's likely that during the registration process you made a mistake while typing your email address. This is the reason why you did not receive our registration confirmation email: email address was not correct. Please call or email Customer Service to verify your personal information. At least, we will cancel your registration so you can repeat it from scratch.

- What do I do if I forget my playstereo password and/or changed my email address?

Your email address is necessary to login into playstereo as a registered user. So if you changed your email address, login into the system using your old email and your password, enter to My Playstereo - General information section - and replace the old one with the new email. Instead, if you cannot remember your playstereo password, click on the password forgotten link from the login page, fill in your email address and you will receive a new password.

- Can I change the password?

Yes, just access My Playstereo -> General account information -> My account -> Change my account password.

- Can I change the registration details?

Yes, just access My Playstereo -> General account information.

Various

- When I try to print a page of playstereo site, it is cut on the right border. How can I get a full print?

If you are using Internet Explorer browser, click on File -> Page Settings. After that, set the left and right margins at almost 8,07.
